About The Role

This is a 12 month fixed term contract to start asap. 

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, the Financial Transactions Manager will lead a team of 6 and manage the complete payables and receivables ledgers.  The role is responsible for implementing and driving efficient, effective and technologically advanced processes and controls across the transactions team and the wider business. 

You will be ensure all billing is generated weekly and payables invoices are posted, payments are made and accounts are reconciled on a timely and accurate basis. Using your people leadership skills, you will ensure your team members are supported, challenged and motivated. You will also liaise with the wider business and suppliers in order to resolve payment, invoice and complex queries. 

Finally, this role will ensure invoices are received and posted on a timely basis but held when appropriate and support the Director of Corporate of Finance with all procurement activities. 

About You

You will be an inspiring and supportive People leader with a proven ability for driving success and delivery through your team. As this role will work in collaboration with several business functions, the ability to establish and maintain internal and external customer relationships at all levels and have excellent inter-personal and communication skills is essential. 
You will require transactions and finance ledgers and finance systems experience along with strong excel skills (pivot / vlookup) and MS Office.
