As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you will play an integral role working with the Commercial Finance Manager to support and challenge the business on sales performance. You will managing key business processes, provide insight and analysis, whilst having the opportunity to drive efficiencies through automation and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, the role suits a commercially-minded finance or analyst professional, who is excited by the opportunity of joining a successful business at a pivotal time in its growth.  For a dynamic and self-motivated individual, this role offers exceptional opportunities to develop stakeholder management skills and obtain strong commercial finance experience in a fast paced successful retail business.

 

You will be responsible for Data analysis through the production of accurate and insightful reporting packs on a regular and analysis and scenario modelling to analyse sales performance, identify trends, and support decision making within the finance and retail functions. You will support the production of quarterly forecasts and the field team bonus calculations. 

This role will involve month end tasks (i.e., calculation of rebate accruals) and will work closely with the inhouse IT department to create and further develop reporting, with the aim of creating efficiencies and ensuring accurate insightful information is easily accessible to all necessary stakeholders.

 

About You

If you are a Finance Graduate or/and are a part-qualified accountant, this could be the role for you!
 
You will have the ability to build productive business relationships with a wide network of finance and non-finance colleagues and be proficient in co-ordinating work between multiple stakeholders and deliver information to exacting deadlines with attention to detail. You will be robust, enthusiastic and proactive in setting own agenda and driving results in a fast paced environment. 
 
Excellent verbal and written communication style and a proven ability to influence a variety of senior stakeholders is required along with advanced MS Excel skills.
