About The Role

We are looking for a Business Support Coordinator to Work with the Business Support Manager and Team Leads to deliver the highest level of Customer Service and Business Administration support to the organization and its membership

The Candidate will be required to perform the following duties:

Provide expert and efficient support to the business on

  • New account processing
  • Changeover processing
  • Account closures
  • Leaflets and POS
  • Brand protection (fascia removal)
  • Delivery day changes
  • Frequency changes
  • Credit requests
  • Ad-hoc queries from the Field Team
  • Achieve Team/Individual KPIs associated with role

Role Responsibilities

  • Management of pipeline tracker and launch planner
  • Maintenance of contracts in line with business needs and changes
  • Ensure transparency of performance and information
  • Responsible for maintaining awareness of competitor terms, conditions and activity
  • Ensure inbound retailer leads are handled within prescribed SLA
  • Outbound fact finding of opportunities within high profile groups of retail stores.
  • Profile building amongst necessary external stakeholders
  • Liaising with internal colleagues for Lead Opportunities (Direct to Store/Development)

Cross-functional working

    • Be the central touch point between the New Business team and Head Office
    • Liaise with credit team around anomalies that could pose a risk to Bestway or potentially hinder opportunities
    • Work closely with Head of New Business and Acquisitions to ensure best practice is shared

Provide cover to the retailer support team daily when required

    • Provide support to retailers, and the sales team dealing with incoming calls and emails on
      • Product code queries
      • Distribution issues
      • Technical ordering support
      • Leaflets and Marketing materials
      • Making out-bound calls to support both new and existing retailers
      • Ad-hoc Out-bound activity
    • Owning all contacts through to resolution & ensuring contacts are resolved within agreed SLAs
    • Ensuring contacts are resolved within agreed SLA’s
    • Working with key functions across the business to resolve queries
    • Reviewing all team communications to ensure a comprehensive knowledge of all current business activity 

About You

  • Excellent customer service knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability and confidence to liaise and converse with other departments and external agencies as required
  • Able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with others
  • Able to work within a team environment or independently
  • Be flexible and adaptable in line with the needs of our retailers and the business
  • The ability to prioritise tasks
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and detail
  • Strong IT skills in all Microsoft Applications, particularly in Excel
